The word somatic is defined as of or relating to the physical body. Somatic Movement is any body-centered practice that invites an intentional engagement with your body, breath and consciousness in a contemplative way. Somatic Movement is also sometimes expressed as Conscious Movement and is dedicated to helping us to ignite and fortify the mind-body connection. It is a meditation–a moving meditation.

We promote movement of the body in many ways to support the well-being of our community at large. Our group practice offerings include walking, yoga, dance, strength training and fitness instruction in a wide variety of expressions for all levels of practitioner.
